I was thinking about it and I kinda wanna open an etsy shop? I was thinking I could make pillows, table runners, and decorated picture frames. Maybe Ill even get one of those kits for the hand stamped jewelry and do some of that too. I dont know if I would even be able to sell much, but I would love to try! Lately I have been on a creative kick and cannot wait to start putting my ideas to action. For some reason I am crazy about burlap right now and have so many cute ideas to incorporate it into a room. It makes me so excited to be able to decorate my house one day. I cannot wait.

I suck at pictures now

Hello there my pretties, I have been absent this past week and I apologize. I started my new job and it wears me out! I started coaching tumbling at Arizona All-Stars. One week in and I have already gotten hit/kicked in the face like 6 times. No joke. But I like it a lot and the hours are wonderful. A few of the girls I coach are in beauty pageants and have been on the show Toddler and Tiaras. If you havent seen the show you have to watch just one episode. It ridiculous. So school starts in a month and I am soo not ready. This will be my last semester before I transfer to ASU and three semesters after that I will have a degree in design management. Im debating getting my masters. But we are starting to get the baby itch and I dunno if we can wait that long. I refuse to go to school while I have a baby. The babe will get my full attention for the first little bit. More for my benefit than his. {Yes our first babe will be a boyy and yes we have a name picked out and no Im not sharing till he is born. There are too many stealers!} Disclaimer: I am not pregnant! Give it a year or three. Last night Chase's little cousins spent the night and were up at 5 this morning. Our sleep is too precious to us still. Speaking of I can barely keep my eyes open. You know when they are all watery and you have to squint to keep them open and you make a funny face? Yeahh thats me right about now. So I bid you a goood night. xox

Short and Sweet

This weekend was the McDowell family campout. Twas a fun yet stressful experience. Chase and I slept in  the back of his parents excursion, with our two dogs, on a twin mattress. Bad idea folks. Titan decided that this would be the time he should start snoring, and it started raining in the middle of the night and we had the windows open. Next year we will just bring a tent....
Since Chase's leg is still broken and he cannot put pressure on it, we spent most of the time playing games, painting shirts and eating delicious food. Use your imaginations for this one because I didnt take even one picture of this little trip. Shame on me.

Then I did a face plant...

This past week was a lot of fun but also consisted of A LOT of driving. We drove up to Utah on Friday and on the way stopped at Lake Powell to drop off the boat since we were going to be staying for a few days on the way back. That drive ended up taking over 18 hours with all our stops. So we didnt get in until 1am. Saturday we had a big Thompson family reunion for Great Grandma Thompson's 100 birthday. It was fun meeting all Chase's extended family that lived in Utah. Unfortunately, being the dummy I am, I forgot to charge my camera and have no pictures from that day... The next day we went to little Cora's baby blessing.
Oh my gooodness she is the cutest thing in the world!
Later that day we drove back down to Powell where we spent the next 4 days enjoying the sun.
It was such a blast. We watched fire works, ate amazing food, played some cards and dominated in wakeboarding. I may or may not have face planted after Chase told me to jump it. I'm pretty much a pro now.
This weekend we are heading up to Woods Canyon Lake for the McDowell family campout. Yay for escaping this heat yet again!
